What We Do

We are responsible for enhancing the Marion County Public Health Department's performance management capacity, in consultation with the Director. We coordinate efforts to attain and maintain national public health accreditation status, which includes continuous quality improvement plan implementation, strategic planning, workforce development and community health improvement planning.

Also we’re responsible for fostering and supporting collaboration between the Health Department and its community partners. Our goal is to achieve measurable performance standards — resulting in a strong public health system that responds effectively to day-to-day public health issues and public health emergencies.
