The Violence Prevention Program provides free educational presentations and other resources for both youth and adult audiences on a wide variety of topics including:

SAVE is a youth organization that offers opportunities for children and teenagers to develop social skills and leadership abilities while participating in a wide variety of activities and events that promote safer schools and communities. The program’s key focus areas include:
- Crime prevention
- Conflict management
- Service projects
- Safe driving
The program is open to any student in Marion County who is at least 12 years old or who has completed the 6th grade.
This educational video demonstrates how children can take precautions to protect themselves from dangerous encounters with strangers. The program uses a variety of realistic scenarios to help children reduce the risk of abduction. The video program is a great resource for students, parents, teachers, public safety/ law enforcement officers, youth workers and others.
The program provides free trigger locks for Marion County gun owners on a one-per-family basis. The locks will easily attach to most handguns and long guns.
